Vetted Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support licensed pharmacists by accurately preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and delivering excellent customer service in a retail setting.

The role includes stocking medications, labeling bottles, maintaining patient profiles, processing insurance claims, and handling cash transactions, all while adhering to regulatory policies and maintaining a clean, organized department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy-related experience preferred.
• State registration or certification required.
• Strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Basic math skills and detail orientation.
• Customer service experience and suggestive selling knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock and inventory medications, notify management of supply needs.
• Receive prescriptions and refills, accurately count, pour, weigh, and label products.
• Maintain customer profiles and insurance documentation.
• Operate cash register, process transactions, and display purchase costs.
• Ensure department cleanliness, product knowledge, and compliance with HIPAA and legal procedures.
• Assist with tasks delegated by pharmacists, including patient counseling and prescription verification.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
