Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Miami Beach, FL. The role supports daily cart exchanges, medication delivery, and Epic-based message handling with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.

Responsibilities include stocking automated cabinets, processing nursing in-basket requests, and assisting with narcotics control while following established policies and schedules. Florida license is required, CPhT preferred, and hospital experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Florida pharmacy technician registration/license required; national certification (CPhT) preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cart exchanges and handles pharmacy telephones and in-basket inquiries.
• Transports and delivers medications and supplies; maintains accurate dispensing processes.
• Restocks automated dispensing cabinets and processes audits for outdates/shortages.
• Packs and prepares medications for dispensing; participates in narcotics handling with CSM vault responsibilities.
• Follows policy for lunch/dinner coverage and other duties as assigned by Pharmacist/Leadership.
