Private Medical seeks an experienced pharmacy technician for our Miami Beach office to assist with physician dispensing, inventory management, and clinical support.

You will collaborate with nurses, administrators, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient medication workflows, data management, and compliant operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license required.
• CPhT or CPhT-Adv from PTCB preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and label prescriptions under physician direction
• Oversee pharmaceutical & clinical inventory: ordering, stocking, labeling, disposal
• Collaborate with clinical teams to manage and submit medication prior authorizations
• Receive and verify medication shipments; log inventory
• Monitor and manage expired or recalled medications
• Maintain relationships with vendors and provide excellent service to members
• Manage data across multiple platforms (EHR, Salesforce, inventory systems, spreadsheets)
• Undertake administrative tasks (record-keeping, rejected insurance claims)
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and security protocols
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to medication management and physician dispensing
• Work closely with patient care administrators, nurses and clinical staff
• Occasionally travel to other locations for training or support
• Office admin support

Status: This is a temporary seasonal coverage role, but may have the opportunity to become permanent depending on approval of an additional full time headcount. Though it is temporary, it will receive full benefits.

Compensation: $36.54/hour target

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday. 40 hours per week, excluding lunch, during traditional business hours. No weekends required!

Location: Onsite, Miami Beach (Lincoln Road)

Right now we're looking for an experienced pharmacy technician to join our team at our Miami Beach office! In this role you will work closely with our other onsite pharmacy technician to provide prescriptions to members through our Physician Dispensing Program, assist our clinical teams with pharmacy related tasks and inquiries, and manage pharmaceutical inventory.

Pharmacy technicians primarily provide assistance to clinical teams within their home office, but also work as part of a larger team. They frequently interact with their counterparts in other offices virtually, occasionally provide coverage for other offices, and support larger organization-wide efforts. The ability and desire to work in a strong team based environment is essential.

This individual must possess excellent communication skills (english speaking) and be proactive about asking questions and seeking assistance from others. The ideal candidate thrives in environments with less rigid structure and is comfortable making independent decisions within a supportive team framework.

What will you be doing in this role?

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Required: Active Pharmacy Technician License through Florida Board of Pharmacy
• National certification (CPhT / CPhT-Adv from PTCB) preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician
