Job summary

West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital in Miami, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our inpatient team. This full-time role supports pharmacists in providing medications to patients and maintaining hospital pharmacy operations.

Under direct supervision, you will fill cassettes and IV medications, process label requests, and deliver supplies and medications to other departments. A supportive benefits package accompanies a commitment to career growth and patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician required based on state requirement.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, the pharmacy technician assists pharmacist in providing medications to patients and performs routine duties in hospital pharmacy.
• Fills medication cassettes under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepares IV medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prints out and fills label requests for First dose or Stat medications.
• Delivers supplies and medications to other departments as needed.
