Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I to join our growing team in Lexington, KY. Under a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions accurately for delivery to customers in long-term care settings.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to regulations while supporting vulnerable populations. New location with on-the-job training and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 1+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience).

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins in an accurate and timely manner.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders.
• Maintain inventory at appropriate levels, remove expired meds, keep stock neat and in order.
• Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
• Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly.
• Maintain clean and orderly workstation and replenish stock supplies.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws and policies pertaining to dispensing medications.
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9 am - 6:00 pm, Saturdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (schedule is subject to change and flexibility will be required)

Pay Range - $20-$26 per hour

Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for the filling and packaging of prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner for delivery to our customers.

Essential Job Functions (include the following)

• Consistently meet pharmacy’s established accuracy and productivity levels.
• Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
• Maintain clean and orderly workstation. Put medications away and replenish all stock supplies needed.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education and Certifications
