Genoa Healthcare seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health pharmacy through dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Location: 955 Water St., Kerrville, TX 78028. Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:00pm CST with a 12:00pm–12:30pm lunch.

Primary responsibilities include customer service, stock management and inventory control. Required Texas license and access to reliable transportation; preferred Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clinic staff and consumers.
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under supervision.
• Order, receive and store pharmacy supplies.
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist Pharmacist with pharmacy functions and regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicate clearly in professional written and verbal form.

We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm CST with lunch from 12:00pm to 12:30pm CST

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas (not trainee license)
• Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
