Ernest Health, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenwood, SC. You will assist pharmacists, count and prepare medications, and support prescription processing in an inpatient rehab setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, current state certification, and hospital experience is preferred. National certification (PTCB) is a plus, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs.
• Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs.
• Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.
• Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred
• Hospital experience preferred
• National certification (PTCB) preferred
