Job summary

Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our patient-centered team in a full-time role. The position supports pharmacists with price-checking, stock management, and accurate prescription handling within a modern inpatient rehab setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, state board registration (preferred), hospital experience, and national certification (PTCB) preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (unless registered by State Board of Pharmacy).
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• National certification (PTCB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs.
• Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs.
• Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.
• Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred
• Hospital experience preferred
