Role Description The Pharmacy Technician role at Holy Trinity Pharmacy is a full-time, on-site position located in New Port Richey, FL. In this role, the Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacist by preparing and processing prescriptions, verifying information, and ensuring medications are dispensed accurately and safely. Daily responsibilities include assisting with inventory control, stocking shelves, checking for expired products, and maintaining organized storage areas. The Pharmacy Technician also provides customer service by answering questions within scope, handling transactions, and communicating clearly and respectfully with patients and healthcare providers. This role requires adherence to regulatory standards, pharmacy policies, and confidentiality requirements, while contributing to a clean, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience handling prescriptions and understanding prescription workflows.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures within a retail or clinical pharmacy setting.
• Background working as or with pharmacy technicians, including support of licensed pharmacists.
• Skills in inventory control, including stock management, ordering, and product rotation.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously in person and by phone.
• High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and commitment to medication safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks as required in a pharmacy environment.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred; relevant certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Florida is a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
• Reliability, integrity, and ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members.
