RLS Radiopharmacies in Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to train and work in a dynamic radiopharmacy setting. You will learn aseptic processes, radiopharmaceutical handling, and regulatory compliance while supporting pharmacy operations.

The role involves compounding, dispensing under supervision, packaging for delivery, maintaining inventory, and ensuring documentation meets GDP standards.

Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or GED/local equivalent.
  • Ability to accommodate shift changes based on business needs.
  • PTCB certified or successful completion within 6 months of hire or current enrollment in an Accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
  • Proof of vaccination for Covid 19 to meet compliance obligations for on-site requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Compound and dispense radiopharmaceuticals under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
  • Package radiopharmaceuticals for delivery for customers.
  • Perform quality control on compounded products.
  • Manage and maintain facility inventory.
  • Perform disinfection task in the cleanroom, and stocking of sterile supplies.
  • Maintain documentation for regulatory programs utilizing good documentation practices (GDP).
  • Process and/or dual verify prescription entries.
  • Duties as assigned by the Pharmacist.

Job Summary

Working and training as an RLS Pharmacy Technician is a great way to learn an exciting new skill set within the field of pharmacy away from more traditional pharmacy challenges such as drive-throughs and insurance problems. As an RLS Pharmacy Technician, you will gain experience in areas such as aseptic processes, radiopharmaceuticals, general regulatory compliance and quality assurance.

The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations by processing prepared products and handling, packaging and delivering radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Accountabilities

  • Compound and dispense radiopharmaceuticals under the supervision of a Pharmacist
  • Package radiopharmaceuticals for delivery for customers
  • Perform quality control on compounded products
  • Manage and maintain facility inventory
  • Perform disinfection task in the cleanroom, and stocking of sterile supplies

  • Previous experience handling radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Previous experience processing prescriptions and/or preparing pharmaceutical
  • Previous experience in sterile compounding.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner
  • Ability to prioritize job duties.
  • Accept and adhere to high ethical values in decisions and actions
