Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy professional to join our team. The role involves retrieving medications, inputting patient and prescription data, preparing labels, and processing insurance claims to ensure accurate dispensing.

You will manage inventory, place medication orders, and support pharmacy initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must have High School/GED or state requirement.
• Retail/Community Practice experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Proficient typing and neat handwriting.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication and promoting pharmacy services.
