Cameron Health in Angola, IN is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician for the Retail Pharmacy. The position is a Day shift, FTE 0.5 (40 hours bi-weekly) with weekend rotations.

Cameron Health is a 25-bed, independent not-for-profit hospital serving Angola and Steuben County with a long history dating back to 1926. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists and maintain drug inventory under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current pharmacy technician permit or Pharmacy Technician in training license.
• 2 years pharmacy technician experience preferred but not required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification from PTCB or equivalent organization.

JOB SUMMARY

Pharmacy Technicians assist Pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Pharmacy Technicians work only under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a Registered Pharmacist.
