Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail setting in Michigan. You will retrieve medications, input prescriptions, process insurance claims, and help with ordering and stocking drugs.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory and input patient data.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Process paperwork related to prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order and stock prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy and professional appearance.

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.

• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
