You will dispense prescriptions, input data into the dispensing system, adjudicate insurance claims, and maintain a clean, compliant, confidential, and welcoming pharmacy environment for customers and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at various service points of contact.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Input customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medication.
• Maintain excellent organization and ability to prioritize workload.
• Communicate effectively as an agent of change.
• Maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Licensed in their respective state if required.
• Complete employer-based training if licensure is not required in their state.
