Job summary

CoxHealth South Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead daily operations in the Springfield, MO pharmacy. You will oversee staffing, dispensing/restocking, and pharmacy automation while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires 1-2 years of related experience, Missouri pharmacy technician registration (or in process) and a Certified Pharmacy Technician within 9 months. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelors in a Related Field.
• Registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or application is in process and full registration obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician obtained within 9 months of hire.
• 1-2 Years Related Experience required.
• 1-2 Years Managerial/Supervisory experience preferred.

Job Description

The Pharmacy technician supervisor is responsible/accountable for leading/managing the day to day operations in the pharmacy including staffing, dispensing/restocking, pharmacy automation and all associated functions. This role may involve occupational exposure to hazardous drugs. Training and education will be provided on any specific procedures, risks and safety protocols associated to the handling of these drugs.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred: Bachelors in a Related Field

Experience

• Required: 1-2 Years Related Experience
• Preferred: 1-2 Years Managerial/Supervisory experience
