Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis seeks a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to perform specialty functions in support of pharmacy operations and to serve as a certified pharmacy technician as needed. You will model MLH's mission and values while ensuring accuracy in medication handling and safety.

The role supports a structured 8 on 6 off shift, works with complex drug nomenclature and calculations, and requires strong communication with internal teams and patients to uphold the highest

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience with medication nomenclature and complex pharmaceutical calculations.
• Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers; communication often involves complex problem solving.
• Proficient in the use of pharmacy based computer systems as well as Microsoft Office program or programs (Word, Excel, Power Point) as indicated in the specific function within the department.
• Must be able to effectively organize, budget time, work efficiently and accurately, and follow procedures with minimum supervision.
