Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH seeks a Pharmacy Technician PRN to join our patient-centered team. You will accurately fill, label and distribute medications under pharmacist supervision, while maintaining drug inventory and patient records and supporting quality checks and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Pharmacist, accurately fills, labels and distributes medications.
• Maintains drug inventory and patient records with quality checks.
• Performs tasks to support distribution of medications and safety standards.
• Contributes to performance improvement initiatives in the pharmacy.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician contributes to high quality, patient-centered care performing technical tasks vital to the distribution of medications. Under the supervision of the attending Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician accurately fills, labels, and distributes ordered medication according to departmental procedure and federal/state/local regulations. The Pharmacy Technician also maintains the drug inventory and patient records and implements quality checks and performance improvement measures.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate / GED
• (CPhT) Certified Pharmacy Technician, or (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License
