Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing, IV admixtures, and medication delivery across hospital patient care areas. Under pharmacist supervision, you will prepare medications, maintain stock, and assist with training new staff in a fast-paced academic medical center environment.

Required: CPhT certification, HS Diploma or GED, and a minimum of one year in a pharmacy setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPhT- Certified Pharmacy Tech (Required)
• Certified Pharmacy technician certification required.
• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Education specialisation: High School Diploma or GED. One year of pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medications for dispensing under the direction of a registered pharmacist.
• Delivers medications to patient care areas and maintains medication stock.
• Maintains inventory and assists in training new technicians.
