Job summary

Mad River Community Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacy department under the direction of the Pharmacist. The technician will process and fill daily patient prescriptions, order and receive stock, and maintain inventory. A competency in preparing IV medications is required.

This per diem position offers friendly, family-oriented teamwork and excellent benefits. Wages are based on prior related experience.

Technicians must complete a competency in preparing IV medications. This position is per diem.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician in California.

4. Familiarity with using a computer database.
5. Maturity, reliability, and emotional stability.
6. Ability to work in an occasionally fast-paced environment and maintain effective working relations with colleagues and other hospital staff.
