Job summary

Smith’s Food & Drug Centers in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and deliver exceptional customer service. You will assist with reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing while maintaining HIPAA and state regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years of age, and active national/state registration or licensure. Experience in healthcare/pharmacy is a plus, with opportunities for growth within The Kroger family of companies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring pharmacist judgment.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry and product dispensing.
• Support HIPAA compliance and company policies.
• Assist with non-dispensing services across platforms and applications.
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings as allowed by state and policies.
• Maintain sanitation and safety per health code regulations.
