Job summary

Fred Meyer in Richland, WA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing, data entry, reception, and patient interaction. You will help ensure accurate processing of prescriptions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a safe, welcoming environment.

You will also assist with non-dispensing services, CLIA-waived screenings where permitted, and ongoing coaching of clerks and technicians as part of a collaborative pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies

Responsibilities

• Provide health and wellness services as allowed by law.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except professional judgement.
• Provide reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing
• Support non-dispensing services and various platforms and applications
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings as allowed by state and federal law
• Maintain sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
• Participate in coaching and training of clerks and technicians
