Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Columbus, GA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and courteous patient service in a retail setting.

This part-time role requires adherence to state board requirements, completion of training, and a commitment to a safe, inclusive culture.

Anticipated 15 hours per week with benefits; pay range $16.00–$24.00 per hour, with opportunities for professional certification and growth.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: be able to concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively help people in a friendly manner and respond to patients
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: use math to calculate prescriptions and supplies
• Problem Resolution: identify challenging interactions and choose the best course of action
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift, reach, and assist with items as part of daily tasks
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager

Education
