Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team. You will dispense medications, input prescriptions into the pharmacy system, adjudicate claims, and ensure safety and accuracy in a fast-paced, customer‑focused setting.

You will promote pharmacy services, maintain confidentiality, stock and order medications, and provide exceptional service. Previous retail/community practice and a positive attitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state licensure as pharmacist.
• Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and input prescription information into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Stock prescription medications and order supplies for the Pharmacy Department.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and a clean workspace.
