Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a pharmacy associate to support daily dispensing operations in a customer-focused retail setting. You will retrieve medications, enter prescription data, create labels, and process insurance claims, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements include High School/GED and strong customer service skills. Prior retail/pharmacy experience is a plus, with opportunities for advancement and education assistance.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent required.
• Retail/Community Practice experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and positive attitude expected.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory.
• Input prescription information into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork for filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock medications and promote pharmacy services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
