Meijer Inc. is hiring a Pharmacy Tech Level 1 in Westland, MI for part-time hours. You will retrieve medications, enter prescriptions, process insurance, prepare labels, place orders, stock shelves, and promote pharmacy services.

• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication and maintaining an organized space.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Prioritizing workload and communicating effectively.
• Maintaining a clean, professional pharmacy environment.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality.
