CommonSpirit Health is seeking an outpatient pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in prioritizing medication orders and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will interpret and prepare orders, distribute medications, and maintain quality assurance while delivering excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
In this role you may provide guidance to other technicians and interns during training, ensuring adherence to pharmacy procedures and regulatory requirements.

This position assists the Pharmacist in prioritizing medication orders, and works closely with Pharmacist(s) in determining routine daily department needs. Performs medication order functions such as order interpretation, preparation, drug distribution, and quality assurance. Provides exemplary customer service and respect at all times during interactions with patients, customers, healthcare providers and other associates. The outpatient/retail pharmacy technician is responsible for all pharmacy technician activities and adhering to assigned work schedules. Provide direction and guidance to other technicians and pharmacy interns during their training in pharmacy drug distribution and operational matters when requested.
Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally.
