Job summary

Trinity Health’s St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists by processing prescriptions for oral, topical, rectal, and injectable meds.

You will enter patient demographics, insurance data, and prescriptions into the system, and assist at the cash register while maintaining a clean, organized workflow. Requirements include 1–2 years of pharmacy experience and either PTCB certification within a year or current enrollment in a pharmacy school

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of pharmacy experience preferred.
• PTCB certification within 1 year of hire date or currently enrolled in a Pharmacy School Program.

Position Purpose

The Pharmacy Tech will assist the Pharmacist by filing physician prescriptions for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable use. Always works under the supervision of a pharmacist.Enters patient demographics and insurance information into the computer system. Enters prescriptions onto patient profiles. Checks patients out at cash register. Keeps Pharmacy clean, neat and organized.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-2 Years of Pharmacy experience preferred
• Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification within 1 year of hire date or currently enrolled in Pharmacy School Program
