Job summary

  • Assist in daily pharmacy operations under the Director of Pharmacy.

Job description

Hourly pay range: $23.46 min. - $34.02 max.

Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, this position is assigned to providing the knowledge and skills in the Pharmacy Department to support the Pharmacist in assuring Redlands Community Hospital patients' quality and safety in age specific drug therapy.

Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
  1. Knowledge of both medical terminology and drug nomenclature.
  2. Previous hospital experience preferred.
  3. Experience with compounding sterile products.
  4. Experience with compounding chemotherapy preparation preferred.
  5. Experience with controlled substance audits preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
  1. Current California Pharmacy Technician license or Intern Pharmacist license.
  2. Current California driver's license required for transport. To drive a company vehicle, must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years and have a clean driving record per RCH insurance carrier.
