Position: Pharmacy Tech / IV Certified
Position Summary: Pharmacy Technicians, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department. They help prepare and distribute medications, maintain inventory and records, and operate in accordance with written procedures, regulations, and state/federal laws. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed by a registered pharmacist.
Job Duties / Responsibilities: Participate with pharmacists, nursing, and medical staff to provide safe, accurate, and timely medication administration.
