Job summary

Qualifications

• Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician.
• Registration with Kentucky Board and Indiana Board of Pharmacy within 30 days if new registrant.
• 6 months of sterile compounding pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to infection control policies maintaining a safe pharmacy.
• Fills stock and pharmacy orders in compliance with laws.
• Packages and labels medications according to guidelines.
• Checks in and stocks medications, filling stocking reports.
• Performs accurate calculations for medication preparation.
• Works on cost containment for compounded sterile products.
