Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport is seeking a pharmacy technician to support hospital operations, dispensing medications, preparing sterile products, and maintaining inventory under pharmacist supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year hospital or ambulatory experience, and active Florida pharmacy technician registration. Pay range posted is hourly with a PRN day shift, and benefits start from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv is required.
• 1+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience, retail or ambulatory experience is required.
• Active State Pharmacy Technician registration required (RPhT) or Licensed Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Executes core pharmacy technician duties under pharmacist supervision.
• Dispenses medications accurately and safely with proper documentation.
• Operates and troubleshoots pharmacy automation systems, ADCs, and software.
