Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician with NC Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous pharmacy experience required.
• Preferred: PTCB certification; must become certified within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interprets, transcribes and dispenses orders under the direction of a Pharmacist.
• Performs billing, pricing, record keeping and regulatory-compliant services.
• Ensures routine and priority tasks are completed within established department timeframes.
• Maintains services in line with policies, workflows and expectations.
• May take on new duties due to program growth.
• Keeps a clean, safe working environment in compliance with policies.
• Protects patient PHI and privacy.
