Job summary

ASK Consulting in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 2 to support specialty pharmacy operations, handling complex therapies and patient interactions.

You will perform order entry under pharmacist supervision, prepare IV admixtures, manage inventory, document compliance, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure timely patient care.

Qualifications

• CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required.
• National certificate, PTCB preferred but not required certificate.
• At least 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician.
• At least 1 year experience compounding IV admixtures as a pharmacy technician.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
• Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.
• Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Product preparation, compounding sterile products, and maintaining the pharmacy clean room suite to 797 requirements.
