Job summary

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders requested by physician or pharmacist, and deliver to patient care and other areas.
• Prepare sterile products, chemotherapy and hazardous drugs, and parenteral products.
• Dispense controlled substances with proper documentation; count discrepancies and report suspected diversions to the pharmacist.
• Ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies, according to policies.
• Assist ordering; receiving, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals and related supplies, rotating stock and replacing outdated drugs.
• Pick up orders, requisitions, and medications for return from patient care areas during rounds.
• Organize and prioritize work assignments; respond timely to urgent and routine requests.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will pick up orders, requisitions, and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds.

• You will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing work assignments; responding timely to urgent and routine requests.
