Qualifications

• High School/GED or meets requirements in their state.
• Retail/Community Practice experience (preferred).
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficient typing skills; neat, legible penmanship.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve appropriate medication from inventory.
• Input customer and prescription information in the pharmacy system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medication.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy and confidentiality of patient information.
