Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to support the pharmacy department in a retail setting in Michigan. You will retrieve medications, input patient and prescription data, and manage labels and insurance claims to ensure accurate dispensing.

You will also order medicines, stock shelves, promote pharmacy services, and maintain confidentiality while delivering excellent customer care in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
