Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Registered Pharmacy Tech with the state in which you work (PHARMTECH:CO).
• Active CPTEXCPT, CPTPTCB or CPHT certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a pharmacy technician following policies for medication preparation and distribution.
• Restock medication dispensing cabinets and fill first doses as required.
• Deliver patient-specific medications as needed.
• Assist narcotic distribution and help resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure current dating of all supplies and medications.
• Maintain records and documents in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Certified Pharmacy Tech I, you will assist the Pharmacist in all operations related to medication preparation and distribution, where extreme accuracy and meticulous attention to detail are paramount.

Every day, you will accurately perform pharmaceutical calculations, compound non-sterile dosage forms, and effectively utilize inventory management systems and automated dispensing cabinets. Operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and often high-stress environment with constant interruptions, you will leverage your high-level security clearance to access all medication storage areas, procedural areas, and surgical suites. You must strictly abide by all state and federal regulations, including stringent record-keeping and infection prevention standards, while consistently prioritizing work to respond to acute critical patient needs alongside scheduled duties.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and a strong willingness to work as a cohesive member of a team. Your ability to accurately prepare medications, manage inventory, navigate a highly regulated environment, and maintain composure under pressure will be crucial in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring patient safety.
