Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparing, packaging, and dispensing specialty medications.
• Support patients by helping them navigate insurance requirements, refill scheduling, and authorization needs.
• Deliver customer-focused service by answering questions, addressing pickup needs, and providing clear communication.
• Coordinate with providers and internal pharmacy teams to ensure seamless medication access.
• Maintain inventory, uphold safety standards, and contribute to efficient pharmacy operations.
• Participate in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on improving outcomes for individuals managing complex therapies.

As part of Penn's specialty pharmacy services, this location focuses on delivering exceptional support for patients with chronic or complex conditions.

What You'll Do

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Pharmacy Technician Certification - CPhT (Required)
• Registered Technician (PA State Board of Pharmacy) (Required)
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-driven pharmacy environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of pharmacy tech experience in a specialty, outpatient, or retail pharmacy setting.
