Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Pharmacist/Pharmacy Team Member to uphold high standards of patient care in a busy retail pharmacy. You will retrieve medications, input prescriptions, manage insurance claims, stock and order meds, and promote clinical services while maintaining confidentiality and a clean, professional environment.

Candidates should have high school or GED and retail experience; strong customer service, typing, organization, and teamwork are essential; willingness to uphold

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.

• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload.
• Using effective communication skills and be agent of change.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
