Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice to be at the center of patient interactions, moving toward a more patient-centric role. You will work closely with the pharmacist, using the latest technology to support dispensing, patient care, and store operations.

This role includes an ASHP & Department of Labor recognized training program that guides you toward PTCB certification and a portable credential to advance your career in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math and computer skills; knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision with dispensing and processing prescriptions.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Provide friendly customer service and support to patients.
• Handle inventory, cash register, and basic clerical duties.
