Qualificações

• Certification in pharmacy assistance or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Retrieves and labels prescription drug products.
• Totes prescription orders following pharmacist verification for shipment.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory and organizes medications and supplies.
• Ensures the work area complies with pharmacy standards.
• Maintains licensure or eligibility for pharmacist-supervised tech role.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds and navigates stairs as needed for task performance.
• Communicates effectively with customers.
• Uses pharmacy computers to input and retrieve information.
• Assists pharmacist with patient consultations as needed.
• Directs veterinarians and customers to the pharmacist for inquiries.
• Understands pharmacy layout and warehouse processes for safety and efficiency.
• Operates RF scanner to pick products and complete tasks promptly.
• Stages orders for pharmacist final verification.
• Labels orders accurately for final verification.
• Recognizes when a pharmacist has checked an order.
• Determines MOT for order completion and appropriate sorting.
• Delivers toted orders for packing and shipping based on MOT.
• Separates prescription-only from combined orders as required.
• Responds to intercom, identifies as a pharmacy technician, and handles calls.
• Maintains scheduling availability to meet daily order completion requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Formação académica

High School diploma or GED completed
