Job summary

Trustaff is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work closely with a pharmacist, locating, dispensing, packing and labeling prescribed medications. A pharmacist will review accuracy before dispensing to patients.

This travel role requires adapting to multiple facilities, with assignments at Ithaca, NY and surroundings. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent experience, an active US license, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent experience in the pharmacy tech role.
• Current active license in a US state.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to new facilities.
• Additional certifications as may be requested by the facility/unit.

Responsibilities

• Locate, dispense, pack, and label prescribed medications.
• Ensure accuracy with pharmacist review before dispensing.
• Travel to various locations for assignment as needed.

About this job

As a Pharmacy Tech, you will work closely with a pharmacist to ensure the health and safety of their patients. You'll locate, dispense, pack, and label a prescribed medication for a patient that is then reviewed for accuracy by a pharmacist before dispensed to the patient.
