Full‑time Pharmacy Tech - Night shift (Munster, IN)

Position Purpose and Summary: Under general supervision of the Staff Pharmacist and following precise procedures, assists pharmacists in filling prescriptions by interpreting, preparing, and distributing medications. Fills medication orders and enters charges into the computer.

Education / Experience

• A High School Diploma is required.
• State of Indiana licensure as a “Pharmacy Intern” or “Pharmacy Technician” is required. Those hired without the above must immediately apply for an appropriate license.
• After filing the application, the employee may work for 30 days without licensure provided a receipt is maintained on file.
• Licensure is the employee’s responsibility, including any fees.
• Some positions may require driving a company vehicle. These positions require a valid Indiana Driver’s License and the employee must be at least 21 years old and a citizen of the United States.
