Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient rehabilitation patients at our Lakeland location. You will ensure safe medication dispensing and help maintain accuracy in medication handling, storage, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Certification and state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with general medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory control and proper storage of medications per established protocols.
• Perform medication replacements and daily filling of med dispense machines with a 24-hour supply using unit-dose systems.
• Manage paperwork and reports related to pharmacy activities, including records for medication carts, compounding logs, and drug inspections.
