Meijer is hiring a pharmacist as part of our Pharmacy team. You will dispense medications, enter patient data, and manage insurance claims while delivering excellent customer service in a retail setting.

Responsibilities include inventory ordering, labeling, workload prioritization, and maintaining patient confidentiality in a clean, professional space. Indiana-based, full-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state requirements may apply.
• Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficient typing and neat handwriting for prescription labeling.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory accurately.
• Enter customer and prescription data into the pharmacy system.
• Create prescription labels and process insurance claims.
• Handle paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock medications and promote pharmacy services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and maintain a clean, professional environment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional appearance.
