Meijer is seeking a pharmacy professional to provide exemplary customer service while dispensing medications and delivering clinical services within a Meijer pharmacy located in Ohio. You will enter prescriptions, verify insurance claims, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes patient care, adherence to regulatory requirements, and teamwork with store staff. Prior pharmacy experience and Ohio licensure are preferred; Meijer offers training and growth

Formación

• Licensed pharmacist or eligible in practice state.
• Experience in Retail/Community Pharmacy preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with patients at service points and promote pharmacy initiatives.
• Input prescription data into the pharmacy dispensing system and create labels.
• Adjudicate insurance claims and retrieve medications from inventory.
• Complete paperwork related to fillings and drug orders; stock medications.
• Maintain a clean, professional pharmacy environment and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Follow licensure requirements and Meijer training as needed.

The position must practice the profession of pharmacy in an environment that by philosophy and policy promotes patient care. This person must be friendly and provide remarkable customer service to enhance overall patient health.

What You'll be Doing:

• Level 2
• Interacting with patients at various service points of contact.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Effective communication skills and agent of change.
• Maintaining a clean, and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
• Licensed in their respective state if required.
• Successful completion of Meijer Employer based training if licensure is not required in their respective state.
