Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to lead a team within our Pharmacy department in Boston, MA. The role involves overseeing daily operations, staff training, and ensuring smooth workflow and excellent patient service.

The Lead Pharmacy Technician will support the Pharmacy Director and on-duty Pharmacist, supervise technicians, interns, and drivers, and manage scheduling, orders, and audits while focusing on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Nationally certified as a Pharmacy Technician.
1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience in retail or community health center pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Train all Pharmacy Technicians, Interns and Drivers on Pharmacy software, UCC's EMR System, IVR, pharmacy register, PARATA, and related tools/programs.
Schedule Pharmacy Technicians, Interns, and Drivers, find replacements for absent staff, ensure smooth shift changes.
Place daily medication and supply orders.
Assist the Pharmacy Director in preparing and organizing Pharmacy for insurance audits.
Perform monthly 340B internal audit under supervision.
Perform other duties as required by the position or as assigned by the Pharmacy Director.
Focus on patient and customer satisfaction.
