Medix is hiring a Clinical Pharmacy Services Supervisor – Critical Care for a pediatric academic medical center in Aurora, Colorado. This leadership role oversees a team of clinical pharmacists and drives patient‑centered care in NICU, PICU, Heart Institute, and ED.

Ideal candidate holds a PharmD or RPh, with a PGY1 residency and at least one year of pediatric hospital pharmacy experience; BLS; strong leadership and communication skills; pediatric critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• PharmD or licensed pharmacist (RPh) required.
• PGY1 residency plus at least 1 year pediatric hospital pharmacy experience.
• BLS certification.
• Pediatric critical care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience or interest in leadership roles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 10–12 clinical pharmacists.
• Support clinical pharmacy services across the NICU, PICU, Heart Institute, and ED.
• Drive medication safety, quality improvement, formulary management, and clinical initiatives.
• Partner with pharmacy leadership, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and coach pharmacists while supporting professional development.
• Provide clinical oversight for high-acuity pediatric patients.
• Participate in staffing approximately twice per pay period, with evening, weekend, and selected holiday rotation.

We are seeking an experienced pharmacy leader for a Clinical Pharmacy Services Supervisor – Critical Care opportunity with a leading pediatric academic medical center in Aurora, Colorado.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with pediatric and/or critical care experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership and make an impact within a high-acuity clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 10–12 clinical pharmacists
• Support clinical pharmacy services across the NICU, PICU, Heart Institute, and ED
