Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation via UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead daily pharmacy operations and deliver safe, high‑quality patient care in a hospital setting.

You will supervise technicians, manage medication usage, ensure compliance with standards, mentor students, and collaborate with clinicians to improve outcomes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with Pharmacist degree; Pharm.D. preferred.
• Current CA state pharmacist license.
• Minimum 1 year hospital pharmacy experience is desirable.
• Demonstrated management/leadership skills and/or program management.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and dispenses medication orders accurately and promptly.
• Supervises Pharmacy Technicians and oversees daily workflow.
• Manages medication storage and conducts routine audits for safety and compliance.
• Provides clinical pharmacy services, including therapy evaluation and drug information.
• Participates in medication reconciliation.
• Leads and mentors pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, scheduling and coaching.
• Implements and maintains departmental policies and medication-use protocols.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation and medication-management standards.
• Leads quality and performance improvement initiatives in pharmacy operations.
• Collaborates with clinicians and promotes interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Mentors pharmacy students per academic requirements.

UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital an inpatient rehabilitation hospital programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Offering customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

How You'll Contribute

What We're Looking For

Hourly range: $70-90/hr
