Job summary

This position will report to the pharmacy operations manager and have direct oversight of staff. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service and computer skills and a strong desire to grow and strengthen their management and team-building abilities while contributing to the success of a high performance team. **What you will do** * Providing daily supervision of operations, coordination of work, quality of service, and team members in the assigned area(s) and serving as a functional expert.* Coaching and mentoring of staff to ensure high employee morale and professional atmosphere, delivery of timely feedback.* Participating in the accomplishment of daily work as a team member including medication order validation, communication with providers, troubleshooting/resolving customer/patient related issues, and team relationship building.* Maintains and completes monthly and annual reporting requirements.* Facilitating resolution of workflow & IT issues by partnering with key stakeholders.* Participating in quality/safety improvement projects, and effectively prioritize staff and management tasks.* Other responsibilities include evaluation of staff performance, handling disciplinary actions, providing input in budget planning, and assisting with monitoring resource utilization. **Qualifications** **Education** * Doctoral Degree, Pharmacy (Required) or* Bachelors Degree, Pharmacy (Required) or* Program Graduate, If a foreign graduate of Pharmacy, has completed all requirements for equivalency as outlined by the National Associate of Board of Pharmacy (NABP).
